Classroom Coaching Request

Empowering Educators through Implementation of Evidence-Based Practices for Autism Request Form


This request form is for school division personnel to request targeted, short-term coaching from Virginia Commonwealth University's Rehabilitation Research and Training Center's Autism Center for Education (VCU-RRTC-ACE). This support is available to classrooms to promote student participation, engagement, and independence. Support is available for the following evidence-based practices:


  • Developing and Refining Classroom Structure
  • Creating and Implementing Visual Supports
  • Increasing Communication Skills
  • Developing and Implementing Systematic Instruction
  • Delivering Reinforcement
  • Providing Social Skills Instruction


Any school staff including classroom teachers may complete this form. Please ensure that a building or division administrator's information is included in this request.
